29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a) Assembly Area (Workstation 1): The employees work products are blocking the fire extinguisher prohibiting immediate use in the case of emergency. b) Assembly Area (Workstation 2): The employer has a fire extinguisher on the floor instead mounted which is prohibiting immediate use in the case of emergency. The employer has provided training on the fire extinguisher in the event use is needed for small fires as well as an emergency evacuation plan. Mortensen Woodwork was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 424304, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on August 29, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 4910 Baker Street Union City, GA 30291.
