29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): Protective eye equipment was not required where there was a reasonable probability of injury that could be prevented by such equipment: (a). In the shop area where operators used compressed air to clean the milled parts eye or face protection was not required to be worn to protect them from the fine shavings coated with the Superedge 6754 Highly refined mineral oil which could cause permanent eye damage, on or about January 16, 2015.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): 29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a). In the machine shop area where employees were exposed to eye and face corrosive irritant from the solvent identified as Superedge 6754 Fine Mineral Oil, used in machine operations, no eyewash was provided in the areas to provide for immediate use, on or about January 16, 2015.
