OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about January 21, 2015 in building 4 in bay 7 at 695 Rotterdam Industrial Park, Schenectady NY 12306 a column and associated timber bracing were found to be unstable with the column having moved from its original location supporting the roof supports to the point where an individual piece of lumber associated with it was in danger of falling to the floor below. This exposed employees to a possible struck by hazard from a falling object.
