29 CFR 1910.107(c)(3): Space-heating appliances, steampipes, or hot surfaces shall not be located in a spraying area where deposits of combustible residues may readily accumulate.  On or about January 15, 2015 at 4601 Hilry Huckaby III Ave., Shreveport, LA 71107, the employer allowed the employees to work in a paint spray area while torpedo-style space heaters were being used inside the same spray area in order to keep the area warm.

29 CFR 1910.107(d)(2): 29 CFR 1910.107(d)(2):  Spraying area(s) were not provided with mechanical ventilation adequate to remove flammable vapors, mists or powders to a safe location and to confine and control combustible residues:  On or about January 15, 2015 at 4601 Hilry Huckaby III Ave., Shreveport, LA 71107, the employer allowed employees to spray paint locomotive cars inside a paint spray area without providing mechanical ventilation.
