29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about November 10, 2014, at 1326 Myrtle, Gainesville, Georgia: Employees performing drywalling/painting work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20-feet when they worked from a second floor patio roof without using fall protection. Fairway Construction Company Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314201666, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on July 21, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at Milledgeville, Georgia.
