OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees exposed to being struck-by falling loads:  (a). At the D.R. Horton model home in Winter Garden during tree hauling operations, the hook of the jib hoist tractor attachment used to haul palm trees did not have a safety latch to secure the lifting strap during lift and travel exposing the employees to being struck-by the falling load, on or about January 22, 2015.
