29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut. a) On or about January 22, 2105, in the shipping crate area of the shop located at 7930 Jones Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44105, an employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while he was permitted to operate the Yates American table saw, to rip wood used in manufacturing shipping crates, which did not have a properly functioning automatic adjusting blade guard. b) On or about October 15, 2104, in the shipping crate area of the shop located at 7930 Jones Rd., Cleveland, Ohio 44105, an employee injured his hand while he was permitted to operate the Yates American table saw, to rip wood used in manufacturing shipping crates, which did not have a properly functioning automatic adjusting blade guard.
