29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) On or about January 23, 2015, employees were exposed to injuries to the eyes and other body parts, such as the respiratory system in that compressed air of approximately 90 psi was used for cleaning dust off of their clothes in the spray booth area of the assembly department.

29 CFR 1910.107(c)(2): Minimum separation. There shall be no open flame or spark producing equipment in any spraying area nor within 20 feet thereof, unless separated by a partition. a) On or about January 23, 2015 The employer failed to ensure that there was no spark producing equipment within 20 feet of the spraying area. Employees are spraying paint outside of the spray booth in proximity of lights that are not sealed.
