29 CFR 1910.138(a): Employers did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes: a/ Inside of the Warehouse, employees tasked with exchanging the LPG cylinders belonging to fork trucks such as Nissan 50, m/n MAP1F2A25LV, s/n AP1F2900789, were provided with a leather split cowhide glove. These gloves consisted of a cotton ployester blend that offered minimal protection against the potential hazard of frostbite.
