29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): In every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial, or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design which were not supplied and securely affixed by the owner of the building, or his duly authorized agent, in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate:  a/  Inside of the Maintenance Area, the loft above the Parts Room was used for storage.  A suitable placard or the equivalent identifying the safe load limit or its equivalent was not posted.

29 CFR 1910.138(a):  Employers did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes:  a/  Inside of the Warehouse, employees tasked with exchanging the LPG cylinders belonging to fork trucks such as Nissan 50, m/n MAP1F2A25LV, s/n AP1F2900789, were provided with a leather split cowhide glove.  These gloves consisted of a cotton ployester blend that offered minimal protection against the potential hazard of frostbite.

DCO ENVIRONMENTAL & RECYCLING INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 964274, citation number 1, item number 8a and was affirmed as a final order on 06/12/14, with respect to a workplace located at 1900 Lee Avenue, Jackson, Missouri 63755.
