OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Roller Conveyor, west side of production area. On or about January 22, 2015, employees were potentially exposed to hazards associated with the unintentional operation, activation, and movement of conveyor components from unguarded foot control pedals. The foot pedal that runs the roller conveyor was not protected to prevent unintentional operation. Employees were exposed to hazards created by unintended operation of the conveyor which included but were not limited to fall hazards.
