29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about January 28, 2015, two employees were exposed to a fall hazard while standing at the edge of a flat commercial roof receiving materials from a rough terrain forklift and giving hand signals to a crane operator. Employees were not protected from falling by the use of any fall protection with a potential fall height measured to be approximately 28 feet above the ground below.
