On or about January 27, 2015 an employee was injured while tending bricks on to a wooden laminated plank of a Non-Stop scaffold. The laminated plank could not support the weight of the materials and employee causing both to fall approximately 42 inches to the ground.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Jobsite located at 240 Sherman Ave: The employer is failing to ensure that employees who work on scaffolds are trained by a qualified person in hazard recognition and control for the scaffold they are working on. On or about January 27, 2015, an employee was injured when the plank of the Non-Stop Scaffolding being used was overloaded causing the plank to break.
