29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one half hour. On or about February 2, 2015 the employer did not ensure that compressed gas cylinders of oxygen and fuel-gas (acetylene) cylinders outside the maintenance shop were stored at a minimum separation distance of 20 feet or separate by a non-combustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire-resistance of at least one half hour.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(2)(ii): Assigned storage spaces for cylinders was not located away from elevators, stairs, or gangways where cylinders could not be knocked over or damaged by passing or falling objects, or subject to tampering by unauthorized persons: On or about February 2, 2015 the employer did not ensure that compressed gas cylinders outside the maintenance shop purchased for use in welding operations were appropriately stored away from high traffic passageways and effectively secured against being knocked over or damaged.
