29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by rotating parts: On or about February 3, 2015, and times prior to, at 4417 Didier Road in Fort Smith, Arkansas, (a) In the Plant Mill, the bottom and upper unused portion of the cutting blade on the Horizontal Bandsaw/resaw were not guarded. These conditions exposed employees to contact with the cutting blade. (b) In the Maintenance Shop, the drive shaft opening on the front of the Morgan drill press, Model DJ-32, s/n 320061, was not covered. This condition exposed employees to contact with rotating parts. (c) In the Plant Mill, the saw blade on the south end of the Cut Length Saw was not guarded. This condition exposed employees to contact with the cutting blade.
