OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees by allowing tree trimmers to climb trees and cut limbs from trees without fall protection to prevent falls to the ground.   a) NRC West parking lot: On or about 2-9-2015, an employee was free climbing trees at heights of greater than 9 feet above the ground pruning tree limbs without fall protection.   Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
