29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): The point of operation of machines whose operation exposes an employee to injury, shall be guarded. The guarding device shall be in conformity with any appropriate standards therefor, or, in the absence of applicable specific standards, shall be so designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle.    On the HAAS Toolroom Mill, the employer did not have adequate point of operation guarding to prevent employees from gaining access to the rotating parts during operating cycles and the added guards create a hazard. Employees were exposed to amputation and crushing hazards while operating the machine and retrieving parts.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
