29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) 1233 Poplar Street, Mountainside, NJ 07092. The employer allowed his employees to operate a pneumatic nail guns while installing roof sheathing and framing when neither employee was wearing any eye and or face protection, i.e., safety glasses exposing them to eye and or face injuries from flying debris. Condition occurred on or about 01/28/15.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: a) 1233 Poplar Street, Mountainside, NJ 07092. The employer allowed his employee to work on from the roof of a new two story, single family home installing roof sheathing and framing with no fall protection systems in place. Condition occurred on or about 01/28/15.
