29 CFR 1926.652(c)(4)(i): The support system used in an excavation over 12 feet deep did not utilize Option 1, Option 2 or Option 3 of this section and the tabulated data used for protective system was not approved by a registered professional engineer: (a)Block Ridge Road - An employee worked in a trench where the trench box and steel extension plates used as a support system in the 13 foot deep excavation did not utilize Option 1, Option 2, or Option 3 in Appendix C and was not approved by a registered professional engineer, observed on or about 2-11-15. Abatement certification required.
