Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were permitted to manually handle rolls of paper weighing 380 pounds:  (a)  Winder Operation / Upender Operation:  Employees were permitted to manually handle/roll five inch wide by seventy inch diameter rolls of paper, weighing up to 380 pounds each, that were not secured from falling over, exposing employees to crushing injuries as evidenced by an injury that occurred on January 30, 2015.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
