29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about February 11, 2015, at 1448 Squire Hills Lane, Lawrenceville, Georgia: a) Two employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 21.3-feet and greater when they worked from the top plate of the second floor without using fall protection. b) Five employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet and greater when they used a stairwell next to an unprotected opening for a stairwell down to the basement. c) Five employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10-feet and greater when they used a stairwell that did not have guard rails installed at the stairwell landing on the second floor. d) Five employees performing framing work were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 11.6 feet and greater when they worked from window and wall openings that did not have guard rails installed.
