29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) At Mile Post 26 US HWY 45 Citronelle, Alabama: On February 13, 2015 employees working along the roadside of US HWY 45 in the vicinity of milepost 26 were exposed to being struck-by passing vehicular traffic in that they were not trained in the recognition of unsafe conditions in a road side work zone.

29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA: a) At Mile Post 26 US HWY 45 Citronelle, Alabama: On February 13, 2015 employees working along the roadside of US HWY 45 in the vicinity of milepost 26 were exposed to being struck-by passing vehicular traffic in that the employer failed to set up a proper work zone by reference as included with the MUTCD 2009 Edition.
