29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a) Production floor - On or about February 13, 2015, the employer did not provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) rated for potential electrical hazards during troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, or installation of electrical systems that operate as high as 480V. Abatement Note: Determination of appropriate PPE such as, but not limited to, clothing, gloves, face shields, hard hats, and boots, should be made in accordance with NFPA 70e (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace) 2012 edition, Annex H, Guidance on Selection of Protective Clothing and Other Personal Protective Equipment after evaluation of the workplace by a qualified person.
