29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: Jobsite: Employees reinforcing a salt shed had not been trained in nail gun safety. One of the employees suffered a nail gun related injury.

29 CFR 1926.404(f)(7)(iv)(C)(2): Exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of cord- and plug-connected equipment which may become energized were not grounded when used in damp or wet locations or by employees standing on the ground or on metal floors or working inside of metal tanks or boilers. A compressor, used outdoors to power a nail gun, lacked a ground prong.
