On or about February 12, 2015, at the jobsite, a employee spotting a 50-foot wooden pole that was being installed in the ground by a digger derrick was shocked when the pole was energized due to coming into contact with the top phase of a 13.2kV overhead power line. The employee was not wearing any personal protective equipment such as hot gloves, sleeves or EH rated dielectric overshoes, resulting in a hospitalization.
