29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At a jobsite in Sycamore, Illinois, employees installing sheets of Visqueen (plastic material) atop of a commercial flat roof were not protected from falling and were exposed to a fall height of approximately 16 feet to the ground. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
