29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Use of flexible cords and cables. Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used: Where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors; a. In the guard shed at the main truck entrance their was a 110VAC flexible cord run through the wall to a camera relay, that cord was plugged into a receptacle inside the shed. The running of flexible cord through a wall poses a fire hazard to employees.
