29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: Inside the receiving department dock door area, powered industrial trucks were in use with seats that showed severe deterioration, making them unsafe to operate. The hazard(s) was found in the following equipment: 1. Nissan Model 30 (Chassis number: CP1F1 - 9N1987; Model variation number: MCPN - A15LV; Nissan Motor Company, LTD, Nissan Forklift Corporation N.A., Manango, Illinois) 2. TCM PRO - CG 25 (Serial number: VFHM480 - 49M) The 1st Choice Courier and Distribution was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315463174, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 21, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 5485 Brown Avenue, Saint Louis, Missouri 63115.
