29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: Employees using the Caterpillar forklift, model GP45, were exposed to the hazards associated with operating a defective powered industrial truck due to damaged/worn tires and the employer failed to remove the equipment from service from service. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c)
