Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 96 Meadow Road, Rutherford, NJ: An employee was exposed to a fall of approximately 17 feet while performing framing and sheathing work without the use of a fall protection system; on or about 1/22/15. Repeat: All Above Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314681974, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 5/7/12, with respect to a workplace located at 300 Pompton Rd, Wayne, NJ.
