Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:   a)  The Praxis Companies, LLC, 372 Rundle Rd., New Castle, Pa  16102:  Nesting area of the Warehouse:  On or about February 25th, 2015 and times prior thereto:  Employees were potentially exposed to fire hazards from the improper use of a Torpedo heater.  The Procom Magnum torpedo heater (Model PCK220VT) was utilized improperly in that combustible materials including but not limited to, wooden boards, cardboard materials and nested bathtubs were stored within the minimum clearances set forth by the manufacturer's recommendations for clearance to combustible materials.  In addition, a 55 gallon drum of kerosene was stored approximately 8 feet from the torpedo heater.
