29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Floor Coverings Department, Montgomery, Il Store.  On or about February 15, 2015, operators and other employees were exposed to amputation and laceration hazards during the operation of a window blinds cutting machine (Mfr. Spring Window Fashions LLC, Model #71-2054-00, SN W0321559) that was not adequately guarded to prevent employees from reaching into the point of operation while the blade was still rotating.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
