29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) of this section, each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Job site, 7203 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA: On or about February 27, 2015, during roofing activities on a low sloped roof, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls of approximately 15 feet in that it was determined that warning lines along the rear roof area were located 5 feet from the edge of the roof and that parapet walls along the sides of the rear roof area were no higher than 32 inches tall.
