OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to amputations hazards while using a circular saw. (a) Location - 149 County Road, Ipswich, MA: On or about 2/27/2015, an employee was exposed to an amputation hazard while using a Makita circular saw where the manner and methods to cut materials was not consistent with the manufacturer's instructions.
