29 CFR 1904.7(b)(3)(ix): The employer failed to estimate the total number of calendar days for an injury or illness that happened in the previous calendar year on the OSHA 300 log. ITW Building Components Group, Inc dba Alpine, Litchfield, IL: On or about 03/03/2015, the employer did not correctly estimate the total number of calendar of days away for the following workplace injury on the OSHA 300 Log for the Calendar year of 2014. This caused the annual summary to be inaccurate. a. On or about 11/17/2014, a recordable injury occurred when an employee had a back injury that happened on press #9, resulting in 74 days of lost time but the employer stopped recording days away at 27; which was the end of the calendar year.
