29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): Floor(s) of workroom(s) were not maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition: This violation was discovered on March 04, 2015 in the MPI Marketing, Inc. facility located at 1902 Reserve Street in Garland, Texas in the production areas, where the employer did not ensure that floors were kept clean of accumulations of wood dust: a) The floors around a MultiCam CNC wood working machine in the west side of the facility, where two employees worked was not kept clear of accumulations of wood dust. This wood dust was analyzed to be Class II combustible material. b) The floors around three De Walt miter saws in the production area of the facility, where three employees worked on each saw was not kept clear of accumulations of pine dust. c) The floor above the storage room on the north side of the facility, where employees worked underneath of was not kept clear of accumulations of wood dust. This wood dust was analyzed to be Class II combustible material.
