29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a)  Building 1220 2nd Floor Front - Workers were observed using an unguarded balcony to load materials onto their working area without using fall protection and were, thereby, exposed to a 10-foot fall hazard which was above a stack of bricks, on or about March 9, 2015.  (b)  Building 1220 2nd Floor Stairway Landing - Workers were observed using a stairway without an unguarded landing to access their work area and were exposed to an approximately 7-foot fall hazard, on or about March 9, 2015.  c)  Building 1220 2nd Floor Rear -  Workers were conducting work activities near unguarded window openings that had ledges approximately 20 inches from the floor without using fall protection and they were exposed to a 14-foot, 1- inche fall hazard, on or about March 9, 2015.    Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
