29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Building 1220 2nd Floor Stairway Landing - Workers were observed using a stairway with an unguarded landing to access their work area and were exposed to an approximately 7-foot fall hazard, on or about March 9, 2015. (b) Building 1220 2nd Floor Rear - Plumbers were conducting roughing-in activities near unguarded window openings that had ledges approximately 20 inches from the floor without using fall protection, and they were exposed to a 14 foot, 1-inch fall hazard, on or about March 9, 2015.
