29 CFR 1926.200(g)(2): Traffic control signs or devices used for protection of construction workers did not conform to Part VI of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (AMUTCD"), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, September 3, 1993, FHWA-SA-94-027 or Part VI of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Millenium Edition, December 2000, FHWA: (a) On or about 02/28/2015 at approximately 12:30 am on or near the 2600 block of Lane Park Road in Mountain Brook, AL, an employee was struck by a vehicle while applying asphalt on a roadway lane near a gas valve. Barricades or other suitable traffic control devices were not in place where the employee was working.
