29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: Jobsite: Employees were working approximately 14 feet 6 inches above the ground securing floor joists when an employee slipped and fell to the ground below where he was impaled by a piece of piece of rebar protruding approximately 4 feet from the ground. The protruding rebar was not adequately guarded to prevent the employee from the hazard of impalement.
