29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)Western Industrial Contractors, Inc. at 14805 East Moncrieff Place, Aurora, CO 80011: On and before March 10th, 2015, the employer did not ensure that the Steelmax magnetic drill, model d1 serial number 05-AX2099, was guarded at its rotating bit. The condition exposed employees to amputations, broken bones, lacerations, and projectile hazards.
