The worker was not wearing eye protection. The worker was exposed to a potential eye injury from being struck by a piece of wood.

29 CFR 1926.304(i)(1): Each circular had-fed ripsaw was not guarded by a hood whcih completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and that portion of the saw above the material being cut: On or about March 12, 2015, at 212 Hunters Trail, New Braunfels, TX, the worker was using a Ridgid table saw that did not have a guard on it. He was ripping wood flooring. The worker was exposed to an amputation hazard.
