29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a/ Ko Fro Foods/Avenel NJ Site: The temporary agency employer did not perform a hazard assessment to ensure that the temporary employees hired to work at Ko Fro Foods, Inc. were provided with the required personal protective equipment and the equipment made available where needed. Temporary employees were exposed to hazards associated with (including but not limited to) dismantling and cleaning equipment that has sharp edges or blades, handling hot foods, objects, equipment, and handling boxes and containers. Observed on/or about 03/04/2015. The Corporate Resource Services DBA/ Diamond Staffing Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 963761, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/11/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 45 Camptown Road, Maplewood NJ 07040.
