29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: (a) At the facility: Employees were exposed to injuries from the operation and use of an electric vehicle in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturer instruction where employees were permitted to ride in the cargo bed. (b) At the facility: Employees were exposed to injuries from the operation and use of an electric vehicle in a manner inconsistent with the manufacturer instruction where employees were permitted to use their free hands to pull wheeled carts alongside the vehicle when it was in motion.
