OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):   Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: in that employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while operating a quikcut concrete saw on wood.   (a) On or about March 13, 2015 at worksite 108 W SOUTH ST Warrensburg, Missouri.-employees were exposed to struck by hazards when engaged in use of the TS 420 STIHL concrete quikcut saw to cut through wood form work.   AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS:  Ensure that the TS 420 STIHL concrete quikcut saw instruction manual  recommendations are followed.  (a) Do not cut wood or any other material for which the abrasive wheel is not authorized.  (b) Never use circular saw blades, carbide-tipped blades, rescue blades, wood cutting blades or toothed blades of any nature. Their use increases the risk of injury from blade contact, thrown tips and reactive forces, including kickback.
