29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of ANSI B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care, and Protection of abrasive wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. On or about March 16, 2015, at Destrehan High Field House, the employer allowed employees to use a Dewalt grinder that was not equipped with a guard. Employee(s) were using the grinder to grind a steel beam.
