29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Machine Shop, Carlton Radial Arm Drill (Model: Hobbins-Myers Serial: 0452BPP): On or about March 18, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards up to 220/ 40 Amperes of current while operating the radial arm drill to machine parts and having the strain relief disconnected exposing wires to direct pressure. (b) Machine Shop, Giddings & Lewis Horizontal Boring machine/ recirculating pump (Model: 70A-D5-T Serial: 150-826): On or about March 18, 2015, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards up to 120 Volt/ 20 Amperes of current while boring parts and running the recirculating pump that had the strain relief disconnected exposing wires to direct pressure.
