29 CFR 1910.119(j)(5): The employer did not correct deficiencies in equipment that were outside acceptable limits (defined by the process safety information on paragraph (d) of this section) before use: (a) Condenser unit platform, north side, at condenser unit(s): On or prior to 3/27/15, HSD (high pressure vapor) and CD (high pressure liquid) ammonia lines and PSV assembly(s) showed evidence of external paint coating failure and corrosion. (b) Roof of energy center: On or prior to 3/27/15, Hot Gas King Valve pipe and valve assembly was showed evidence of external paint coating failure and corrosion. (c) Main roof of refrigerated building: On or prior to 3/27/15, roof-top valve assembly(s), including PSVs, for air curtain AHUs and penthouse AHUs showed evidence of external paint coating failure and corrosion.
