29 CFR 1910.1001(f)(1)(i): The employer did not institute engineering controls to maintain employee exposure to or below the TWA and/or excursion limit prescribed in paragraph (c) of this section, except to the extent that such controls are not feasible. Building 100- On or about March 16, 2015 the employer was not maintaining the asbestos encapsulating pipe lagging on the hot and cold water pipes servicing the lavatories in the men's restroom of the Navy radio station building in a proper manner to obviate the release of friable asbestos.
