29 CFR 1926.405(b)(2): In an energized installation, each outlet box did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy. a) Hotel Hallway and Room Northeast of General Contractor Office, Ground Floor - Phase II, 193 Resort Drive, Tannersville, PA - Employees operated a portable light that was provided electrical power from a flexible cord (extension cord) plugged into an energized branch circuit outlet that did not have a cover or faceplate. Employees were exposed to a contact with electrical current hazard as observed on or about March 19, 2015. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is not required for this violation. The hazardous condition was corrected during the inspection.
