29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: (Construction Reference 1926.103)  Galletas Masonry - on or about March 18, 2015, Lot 25A located at 1460 Azalea Brook Lane in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals presenting a respiratory hazard while mixing Coosa Type N masonry cement, the employer did not develop and implement a written Respiratory Protection program.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: (Construction Reference 1926.103)(a)  Galletas Masonry - on or about March 18, 2015, Lot 25A located at 1460 Azalea Brook Lane in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where employees were exposed to corrosive chemicals presenting a respiratory hazard while mixing Coosa Type N masonry cement, the employer did not provide a medical evaluation to ensure the user was medically able to wear a respirator.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
